You will be asked to provide information about your gynecological concerns and general health both prior to and during your consultation. All information is treated confidentially and in accordance with Privacy Laws. This information helps us provide a thorough service.

It is likely that you will require a gynecological examination and after the procedure has been described to you, your consent for this will be sought.

You will have ready access to the results of any tests or investigations and may elect to receive the results personally, by mail, or by phone. A copy of the correspondence to your Referring Doctor will  also be forwarded to you.

IN HOSPITAL PROCEDURES

If you require surgery this will be discussed with you, the type of surgery described and risks outlined. It is my practice to use minimally invasive surgical techniques for all surgical procedures where feasible. Written information about your condition and the type of surgery can usually be provided and is also available on this website. You will have a pre-operative or booking visit with the Practice Nurse prior to your scheduled procedure and the oportunity to have any questions or concerns addressed. You may also wish, or be asked to have a preoperative appointment with your anaesthetist.
